Lycium yunnanense is a plant type from the genus of Lycium ( Lycium ) in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).

Lycium yunnanense is an upright shrub that grows to a height of about 0.5 m . Its leaves are 80 to 150 mm long and 20 to 30 mm wide.
The flowers are hermaphroditic. The calyx is bell-shaped, its calyx tube is about 2 mm long. The crown is funnel-shaped and colored pale blue-purple, purple or occasionally white. The length of the corolla tube is 3 to 4 mm, that of the corolla lobes 2 to 3 mm. The stamens are tomentose above the base.
The fruit is a yellow-red, spherical berry that measures 4 mm in diameter. It contains about 20 seeds .
Occurrence
The species is common in the Chinese province of Yunnan .
