Keith David
Keith David (born June 4, 1956 in Harlem , New York City ) is an American actor . His filmography so far includes over 250 film and television productions.
Life
Keith David is the son of phone manager Dolores (née Dickenson) and Lester Williams, a payroll director. He grew up in Corona and Queens . Ever since he was allowed to play the lion from The Wizard of Oz in a school play, he was certain that he would later become an actor. David studied at the High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan and attended the Juilliard School from 1975 to 1979 , from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts .
Career
Keith David became known as Childs alongside Kurt Russell in The Thing From Another World . He has appeared in numerous well-known films, including Platoon , You Live , Missing in Action 3 , Men at Work , Armageddon - The Last Judgment , Transporter - The Mission , Transformers or Free Birds - Eat Us Another Day . In addition, his filmography includes various guest appearances in television series, including Emergency Room - Die Notaufnahme .
Furthermore, David also works as a voice actor for computer games (including Halo 3 and Mass Effect ) and animated films.
