action
Mike McNeil is a New York police officer originally from Ireland . However, he is by no means a role model because he smokes , takes medication and has a lover in addition to his wife. His partner Terrence “Pip” Phillips supports him in his job, where he also likes to cross borders. Production and broadcast
After the job was ordered as a series in May 2000, ABC announced a start date for the so-called midseason. It finally started on March 14, 2001. The broadcast of the first season with six episodes ended on April 18, 2001. In May 2001, ABC then extended the series by a second season, which should be shown from next fall. However, due to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 , the start of the second season was postponed to spring 2002. It was finally shown between January 16 and April 24, 2002. Due to the family-friendly reorganization of the station's programming by Disney in the spring of 2002, the series was not extended for a third season.
The German-language first broadcast of the series began on January 7, 2003 on the German broadcaster Das Erste . Later broadcasts could be seen on SF Zwei , ORF 2 , AXN and Einsfestival, among others.
