Bashar Hussain Abdulmajed (born December 25, 1981 ) is a Qatari pool and snooker player .

Career

In 2007, Bashar Hussain was eliminated in the preliminary round of the 8-Ball World Cup . At the 10-ball world championships in 2008 and 2009 , he was also eliminated in the preliminary round. In 2010, Hussain lost to the eventual finalist Niels Feijen in the sixteenth finals of the 8-ball World Cup and was eliminated from Francisco Felicilda in the round of 64 at the 9-ball World Cup . In February 2011, Hussain achieved his best ever result at a world championship; in the round of 16 of the 8-Ball World Cup 2011 he lost to Joven Alba 4: 9. In 2013 he reached 33rd place at the China Open . At the 9-Ball World Championships in 2013 and 2014 , Hussain was eliminated in the preliminary round.

Hussain has participated in the World Cup of Pool six times so far . In 2006 , 2007 and 2008 he was eliminated in the first round together with Fahad Mohammadi . In 2009 and 2010 he formed the Qatari team with Mohammed Ali Bin Ali , which was eliminated again in the first round. In 2014 he reached the round of 16 with Waleed Majid as a double partner.

In addition, Hussain appeared in several snooker tournaments . In 2015 and 2017 he reached the round of 32 at the Amateur World Cup.
