from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The World Cup of Pool 2010 was the fifth edition of a pool tournament in the 9-ball discipline that has been held annually since 2006 , in which each participating country is represented by a team of two players. In 2010 it took place in Robinsons Place in Manila , Philippines from September 7th to 12th. The team from China won the final 10: 5 against the second Filipino team.

regulate

The game was played with a winner's break. This means that the team has the right to kick-off that the previous game has also won.

In 2010, the game was played up to the round of 16 until a team had won eight games (racks), in the quarter-finals the number of racks needed to win was increased to nine and in the final to ten.

Furthermore, a so-called shot clock was used, which does not allow the players to wait longer than 40 seconds with their shot. However, you have the option to announce an extension once per rack, which gives you another 40 seconds more time for the push.
