Philipp Stojanovic (born April 15, 1982 in Regensburg ) is a Croatian pool player .

Career

Stojanovic reached his only Euro-Tour quarter- finals at the Czech Open 2006 . However, he lost it to Stephan Cohen 5: 9. In 2006 he also took part in the first World Cup of Pool , together with Ivan Kralj as a Croatian team . However, they were eliminated in the first round against Vietnam 8: 9. In 2007 he reached the round of 16 with Ivica Putnik . Then he managed to move into the knockout round of the 9-ball World Cup , in which he lost to Oliver Ortmann in the first round . In 2008 and 2009 , Stojanovic again took part in the World Cup of Pool with Putnik. After they reached the round of 16 in 2008, they were eliminated in the first round in 2009. In 2010 and 2012 he was eliminated again in the first round , now with Karlo Dalmatin as a double partner.

In July 2009, he survived a car accident in which he suffered a multiple fracture of the spine. Contrary to the medical prognosis, he returned to professional sport and took 27th place on the 2010 Euro Tour and qualified for all three world championship tournaments.
