Ivica Putnik (born November 18, 1972 ) is a Croatian pool player . In 2008 he became European champion in 14/1 endless .

Career

Putnik is 12 times Croatian champion.

His best result on the Euro Tour was reaching the quarter-finals. He has managed to do this three times so far, for the first time in 2007 at the Netherlands Open , when he lost 1:10 to Roman Hybler . In the Italy Open 2010 he lost in the quarterfinals against Mateusz Śniegocki 4: 9 and in Bosnia & Herzegovina Open 2013 against Tomasz Kapłan with 1: 8.

At the EM 2008 Putnik managed to become 14/1 endless European champion with a 125:99 final victory against the German Ralf Souquet . In the same year he finished 97th at the 10-Ball World Cup with two defeats in the preliminary round. In 2010 he reached the 10-ball quarter- finals at the European Championships , but lost it to the Dutchman Niels Feijen 5: 7.

Ivica Putnik has represented Croatia five times at the World Cup of Pool . In 2007 and 2008 he reached the round of 16 with Philipp Stojanovic , and in 2009 they were eliminated in the first round. In 2013 and 2014 he retired in the first round with Karlo Dalmatin . In addition, Putnik was part of the Croatian team at the 2010 World Team , which was eliminated in the third losing round against Germany 2 .
