Roman Hybler (born December 27, 1977 in Liberec ) is a Czech pool player .

Career

Roman Hybler began playing billiards at the age of 12 . His first club was the PBC Woodstock Germering ; later he moved to PBC Olimpia Munich , for which he won several titles at German junior championships. After that, Hybler played for the BSV Playhouse Fürstenfeldbruck in the Bundesliga , before he went to BSV Dachau in 2002, where he was twice German team champion ( 2005 and 2006 ). In 2010 he returned to Fürstenfeldbruck. Hybler has been playing for the PBC Bad Saulgau since August 2018 and is "ambassador" for the Franz & Regine Frauenhoffer Foundation (including the operator of the non-profit organization Billard Akademie Bad Saulgau ).

In 2001 he was able to win an important tournament for the first time at the Euro Tour tournament in Willingen.

In 2003 he won in the billiards championship in the Polish Bialystok in 8-Ball and 9-Ball each the bronze medal of the men; a year later at the EM in Prague another bronze medal in 14/1 was added endlessly . His greatest international successes include reaching the round of 16 at the 9-Ball World Cup in 2005 and the quarter-finals at the World Pool Masters 2005 . In addition, he was able to achieve top ranks at the European team championships with the Czech and Polish national teams.

At the Netherlands Open 2007 he reached the final for the third time in a Euro Tour tournament. He lost this to Imran Majid and was second.

In January 2016 he won the final tournament of the German Tour 2015 by beating Nick van den Berg 7-4 .

Hybler plays a Mezz Exceed EXC-0601EY queue , which is a unique piece. His break cue is a Mezz Powerbreak PB-T Deep Impact. His nickname in the billiards scene is Czech Attack .
