The final of the German Tour 2015 was a pool tournament that took place from January 6th to 10th, 2016 in Darmstadt , Mörfelden and Dieburg . It marked the end of the second season of the German Tour tournament series organized by the billiard magazine touch in cooperation with the German Billiard Union .
The Czech Roman Hybler won the tournament with a 7-4 win in the final against the Dutchman Nick van den Berg . The three-time reigning German champion Joshua Filler , who finished the German Tour 2015 as the first in the ranking, was eliminated in the round of 16 against Sebastian Staab . Raphael Wahl , the reigning German 9-ball champion , lost in the round of 64 to Jan-Henrik Wolf . Ina Kaplan won the women's tournament by beating Jennifer Vietz 5-0 in the final .
German Tour 2015
The German Tour 2015 included around 800 tournaments in Germany that took place between December 2014 and November 2015. According to the number of participants and the amount of prize money paid out, points were awarded for the German Tour ranking list at the tournaments. The 315 best placed players qualified for the final tournament. In addition to the main tournament, in which women were also entitled to participate, there was a women’s tournament, for which the top 60 women in the ranking list were qualified.

The 315 best-placed players in the German Tour ranking were qualified for the final tournament. In the preliminary round, which took place from January 6th to 8th, 2016, the players in the rankings 6 to 315 were divided into 39 groups of eight players in which they competed against each other in the round robin mode in the 9-ball discipline . The top three in each group as well as the top five in the German Tour ranking list, Christian Reimering as the winner of the German Tour 2014 and a wildcard player qualified for the intermediate round, which took place on January 9 and was played in the 10-ball discipline . In the second round , the players were divided into 31 groups, in which they competed against each other in a double knockout system . The two best placed in each group as well as a third party in a play-off and Joshua Filler , as the winner of the German Tour rankings 2015, qualified for the final round, which took place on January 10 in the knockout system in the Discipline 8-ball has been played.

The women's tournament took place on January 9-10, 2016.

Qualified for the tournament were the 60 best placed players in the German Tour ranking list for women. In the preliminary round they were divided into 10 groups in which they competed against each other in the round robin mode in the 10-ball discipline . The three best placed in each group as well as the first placed in the German Tour ranking list Kristina Grim and a wildcard player selected by the billiard magazine touch qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system in the 8-ball discipline .
