Dimitri Jungo (born March 5, 1983 ) is a Swiss pool player .
Between 1996 and 2000 he won one gold, four silver and two bronze medals at the European Youth Championships in the pupils and juniors age categories . In 2000, he won the Canadian Quebec the world title in the junior category in the 9-ball . In the same year he won his first tournament on the Euro Tour .
Together with double partner Marco Tschudi , he took part in the World Cup of Pool in 2007 and 2008 , with the team reaching the quarter-finals in 2007 and the second round in 2008.
At the WPA 8-Ball World Championship in 2008 he reached the quarter-finals, but was then defeated by the Swede Marcus Chamat .
With the victory at the 2009 European pool championship for men in discipline 14 and 1 endless , he achieved his greatest sporting success to date. A year later he reached the round of 16 at the WPA 9-Ball World Championship in 2010 . In 2011, he won his second Euro Tour tournament at the Dynamic German Open in Brandenburg an der Havel .
His nickname in the billiards scene is BB Striker .
