Can Salim-Giasar (* 1997 ) is a German pool player .

Career

In April 2012, Can Salim-Giasar reached the final of the German Youth Championship for the first time in the 14/1 endless and in the 10-ball of the U-17 juniors and was subject to Joshua Filler there . In August of the same year he was third in the 9-ball and 10-ball students at the European Youth Championships . In October 2012 he won his first medal at the German men's championship with bronze in 9-ball . At the 2013 youth championship, he won the final against Joshua Filler and Kevin Schiller as the German U-17 champion in 8-ball and 10-ball. In June 2013 he came third in the 9-ball competition of the Deurne City Classic . Two months later he won the bronze medal in the 9-ball students at the European Youth Championships . In August 2014, Salim-Giasar reached the finals of a Euro Tour tournament at the Slovenian Open for the first time and was eliminated in the round of 32 against Richard Jones from England 7: 9 . In April 2015 he was German U-19 champion in 9-ball in the final against Jannik Schmitt .

With the second team from Joker Kamp-Lintfort , Salim-Giasar achieved promotion to the regional league in 2012. In 2013 he moved to PBC Schwerte 87 , with whom he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga in 2014 and became German champion in 2015 .
