Slovenian Open 2014

The Diamond Nine / Dynamic Slovenian Open 2014 was the 132nd tournament in the Euro-Tour pool billiards tournament series . They were held from August 21 to 23, 2014 in Portorož in Slovenia in the 9-ball discipline .

The Estonian Denis Grabe won the tournament with a 9: 4 victory in the final against the Dutchman Marc Bijsterbosch .

Joshua Filler and Can Salim-Giasar were eliminated as the best Germans in the sixteenth finals. The best Austrian was Albin Ouschan , who lost in the quarterfinals to the eventual tournament winner Grabe. His sister Jasmin Ouschan was eliminated in the round of 16, Mario He in the round of 32.

Final round

From the sixteenth finals onwards, the games will be played in the knockout system . The 32 participants in this round are determined in a double knockout system .
