Tomas Larsson (born May 5, 1971 ) is a Swedish pool player .

Career

At the European Youth Championship in 1986, Tomas Larsson was European Junior 9-Ball Champion in the final against his compatriot Tomy Eriksson . In 1989 and 1990 he lost to the Austrian Werner Duregger and the Norwegian Vegar Kristiansen in the 14/1 endless finals of the Junior European Championships . In March 2008 Larsson finished fifth at the Interpool 9-ball Open. After not getting past 97th place in 8-ball and 10-ball in 2010 , he reached the sixteenth-finals in 14/1 endlessly at the 2011 European Championships , as well as 65th place three times. In 2013 he reached the round of 16 in 10-Ball, but was defeated there by Karol Skowerski 2-8 . He also reached the last sixteen again in 14/1. In October 2013 Larsson reached the finals of a Euro Tour tournament for the first time at the North Cyprus Open , but was eliminated in the round of 32 against Radosław Babica 8: 9. In December, he finished ninth in a Great Britain 9-Ball Tour tournament. At the EM 2014 , Larsson reached the round of 32 in 9-ball and 14/1 endlessly and came in 33rd place in 8-ball. In August 2014 he achieved his best result so far on the Euro Tour at the Slovenian Open . He was eliminated in the round of 16 against Radosław Babica.

In 2014, Larsson and Andreas Gerwen formed the Swedish team at the World Cup of Pool , which was eliminated in the first round against the Netherlands. Larsson has taken part in the Team World Cup three times with the Swedish team, reaching the quarter-finals in 2012 and the second round in 2010 and 2014 .
