Werner Duregger is an Austrian pool player .

Career

In 1989 Werner Duregger became endless with a final victory against Sweden's Tomas Larsson Junior European Champion in 14/1 . In the same year he was the first Austrian men's master in the disciplines of 8-ball and 9-ball . In 1990 and 1991 he managed to successfully defend the 8-ball title. In 1991 he was also Austrian champion in 14/1 endless. At the European Championships in 1992 he was 9-ball European champion in the final against the Belgian Mario Lannoye . One year laterhe won bronze medals in the 8-ball and 9-ball disciplines. At the Austrian championship in 1993 he won the 8-ball and 9-ball titles. In 1993 he also won the European Pool Masters , the predecessor tournament of the World Pool Masters, with a 2-1 win against the German Ralf Souquet .

Werner Duregger was twice Austrian team champion ; 1991 with the CAP Hörbranz and 1993 with the PBC Landhaus Brixlegg .
