German Open 2009 (10-Ball)

The Diamond Nine / Dynamic German Open 2009 was the 99th tournament in the Euro-Tour pool billiards tournament series . They were held from May 21 to 23, 2009 in Sindelfingen by BC Sindelfingen . It was the first Euro-Tour event to be held in the 10-ball discipline .

The German Ralf Souquet won the final against the Englishman Imran Majid 8: 4 and thus won the tournament. Souquet had previously defeated Thomas Engert , the penultimate German remaining in the tournament, in the semifinals .

Final round

From the sixteenth finals, the games were played in the knockout system . The 32 participants in these rounds were determined in a double knockout system .
