The BC Sindelfingen (full name: Billard Club Sindelfingen 1990 eV ) is a billiard club from Sindelfingen . The club, which was founded in 1990, was the German pool champion in the 2008/09 season .
history
The Billard Club Böblingen 1990 eV was founded on January 22nd, 1990 in Böblingen and merged with the Poolteam Böblingen eV in 1991. In 2000, the club moved to its current venue, Die Drei in Sindelfingen, and at the same time was renamed Billard Club Sindelfingen 1990 eV . In 2006 the club became champions of the 2nd Bundesliga and was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga . Three years later the team, consisting of Benjamin Baier , Jakob Belka , Jörn Kaplan and Marco Tschudi, became the undefeated German champions. In the following season, however, the first team was withdrawn from the 1st Bundesliga and took over the regional league starting position for the second team. After a temporary relegation to the league, the club has been playing in the regional league since the 2013/14 season.
