Austria Open 2014

The Diamond Nine / Dynamic Austria Open 2014 was the 131st tournament in the Euro-Tour pool billiards tournament series . It was held from May 22nd to 24th, 2014 in St. Johann im Pongau in the 9-ball discipline .

The Estonian Denis Grabe won the tournament with a 9-1 victory in the final against the Greek Nikos Ekonomopoulos .

Harald Stolka and Tobias Bongers reached the sixteenth-finals as the best Germans, while Mario He made it to the quarter-finals as the best Austrian . Bongers and He were both eliminated against the eventual tournament winner Grabe.

Final round

From the sixteenth finals onwards, the games will be played in the knockout system . The 32 participants in this round are determined in a double knockout system .
