Treviso Open 2014

The Diamond Nine / Dynamic Treviso Open 2014 was the 134th tournament in the Euro-Tour pool tournament series . They took place from 11 to 13 December 2014 in the BHR Treviso Hotel in Treviso and were played in the 9-ball discipline .

The Dutchman Nick van den Berg , who had won the two previous Euro Tour tournaments in Treviso with the Treviso Open 2013 and the Italian Open 2014 , won the tournament by beating his compatriot Niels Feijen 9: 3 in the final . Kevin Becker was eliminated as the best German in the semi-finals against van den Berg, the best Austrian, Albin Ouschan , lost to Feijen in the quarter-finals.

The 14-year-old Russian Fyodor Gorst was one of the youngest players so far to reach the finals of a Euro Tour tournament, but lost to Roman Hybler in the round of sixteen .

Final round

From the sixteenth finals onwards, the games will be played in the knockout system . The 32 participants in this round are determined in a double knockout system .
