Christian Sparrenlöv-Fischer (born May 17, 1994 ) is a Swedish pool player . In 2017 he became vice European champion in 10-ball .

Career

At the European Junior Championships 2012 , Christian Sparrenlöv-Fischer reached the round of 16 in the 10-ball , 8-ball and 9-ball disciplines . In June 2013 he won his first medal in the Swedish men's championship when he was eliminated from Andreas Gerwen in the semifinals of the 9-ball competition . In March 2014 he took part in the men's European championship for the first time and reached the round of 32 in the 14/1 endless , in which he was defeated by the Belgian Moritz Lauwereyns . In June 2014 he became Swedish champion in 14/1 with a 125: 121 final win against Andreas Gerwen . In December 2014 he made it into the finals of a Euro Tour tournament for the first time at the Treviso Open , but was eliminated in the round of sixteen against Tony Drago . At the EM 2015 Sparrenlöv-Fischer qualified in all four disciplines for the main round and again reached the round of 32 in 14/1 endlessly. At the Austrian Open 2015 and the Italian Open 2016 , he also made it to the sixteenth finals. At the European Championships 2016 he reached the round of 64 in the 14/1 endless and 8-ball competitions. In July 2016, he became Swedish 9-ball champion with a 9: 6 final win over Tomas Larsson . In October 2016 he reached the round of 16 at the Dutch Open , where he lost 8: 9 to Wojciech Trajdos .

In March 2017 Sparrenlöv-Fischer took part in the European Championship for the fourth time . After he was knocked out endlessly in the round of 32 in the 14/1, he moved into the final in the 10-ball competition, in which he was defeated by the Dutchman Marc Bijsterbosch 6:10. Then he reached the round of 32 in 8-ball and 9-ball.

With the Swedish national junior team, Sparrenlöv-Fischer became vice European champion in 2010 after a final defeat against Germany. With the men's national team, he finished ninth at the 2014 European Championship . In 2016 , he and the team won the bronze medal after a semi-final defeat against eventual European champions Germany.

In 2015 he formed the Swedish team at the World Cup of Pool together with Marcus Chamat , which was eliminated in the first round by England's Mark Gray and Daryl Peach .
