The Svenska Biljardförbundet is the Swedish National Billiard Sports Association.
history
The association was founded in 1940 and has been a member of the national sports association Riksidrottsförbundet (RF) since 1974 , in whose house it is also based. The disciplines of carom , pool billiards and snooker are practiced and administered within the SBF . The SER adheres to the statutes of the RF and conducts its business within this framework. He represents the thoughts of the billiards and member associations within the RF from a national perspective. It is a non-profit organization and acts according to their idea.
tasks
Like all national associations, the SER deals with the national concerns of its members / players, organizes national championships and sends or nominates players for international competitions such as world and European championships.
