Moritz Lauwereyns (born November 25, 1994 ) is a Belgian pool player .

Career

In July 2012 Moritz Lauwereyns won the bronze medal in the 10-ball at the European Youth Championship and was in the final against the Cypriot Berk Mehmetcik junior European champion in the 8-ball . At the Junior World Championship he reached the semi-finals and lost to Tobias Bongers 7: 9. In April 2013 he took part in the men's European championship for the first time and reached the round of 16 in 14/1 , which he lost 9: 125 against the Austrian Albin Ouschan . In the 8-ball he reached the round of 32. At the EM 2014 Lauwereyns reached the quarter-finals in 14/1 endlessly, which he lost 0: 125 to Tomasz Kapłan , and the sixteenth-finals in 10-ball. A few weeks later he was third in the 9-ball at the Deurne City Classic.

Moritz Lauwereyns was three times Belgian men's champion.

In 2013 Lauwereyns formed the Belgian team at the World Cup of Pool together with Serge Das , but they were eliminated in the first round.
