Dutch Open 2014 (9-Ball)

The Diamond Nine / Dynamic Dutch Open 2014 was the 133rd tournament in the Euro-Tour pool billiards tournament series . They were played from October 1st to 4th, 2014 in Leende in the Netherlands in the 9-ball discipline .

The winner of the tournament was the Englishman Mark Gray with a 9: 6 victory in the final against the Greek Nikos Ekonomopoulos . The best German of the tournament was Ralf Souquet , who lost to Wojciech Szewczyk from Poland in the second round . Mario He reached the semi-finals as the best Austrian, Albin Ouschan lost to Daryl Peach in the round of 16 .

The German Oliver Ortmann , who had won the last Euro Tour tournament in the Netherlands, the Netherlands Open 2009 , was eliminated in the preliminary round against Niels Feijen . The Estonian Denis Grabe , who had won the Euro Tour events 131 and 132 , was eliminated in the preliminary round against Mark Gray.

Final round

From the sixteenth finals onwards, the games will be played in the knockout system . The 32 participants in this round are determined in a double knockout system .
