Mats B. Schjetne (born May 9, 1991 ) is a Norwegian pool player .

Career

Schjetne was six times Norwegian youth champion and three times Norwegian men's champion. His greatest success at the European Youth Championships was a third place.

At the Derby City Classic 2012, Schjetne achieved tenth place in the 14/1 challenge and 22nd place in 9-ball . In the same year he also reached the finals of a Euro Tour tournament for the first time ; he lost the sixteenth finals of the North Cyprus Open against Daryl Peach from England . He won his first Euro Tour medal at the Slovenian Open 2014 . After defeating the reigning 9-ball world champion Niels Feijen , among others , he lost 8: 9 in the semifinals against the Dutchman Marc Bijsterbosch . At the EM 2015 he reached the round of 16 in 14/1 endless. In November 2015 he made it to the semi-finals of the Treviso Open , in which he was defeated by Mark Gray 8: 9.

At the 2010 World Team , he lost in the round of 16 with the Norwegian team against the Philippine team, which later became vice world champions.
