Italian Open 2014

The Diamond Nine / Dynamic Italian Open 2014 was the 129th tournament in the Euro-Tour pool billiards tournament series . They were played in Treviso from February 6th to 8th 2014 in the 9-ball discipline .

The Dutch player Nick van den Berg , who plays for BV Fortuna Straubing , won the tournament by beating Poland's Karol Skowerski 9-5 in the final . After the Treviso Open 2013 , it was van den Berg's second Euro Tour tournament victory in a row.

The best German of the tournament was Marco Dorenburg . He lost in the round of 16 against Tomasz Kapłan from Poland 3: 9. Albin Ouschan was the best Austrian and lost 7: 9 in the round of 16 against Skowerski, who would later be finalists.

Final round

From the sixteenth finals onwards, the games will be played in the knockout system . The 32 participants in this round are determined in a double knockout system .
