The Diamond Nine / Dynamic Billard Italian Open in 2017 were the 147th Tournament of 9-Ball - Pool Billiard Tournament Series Euro tour . They took place from February 23 to 25, 2017 at the BHR Treviso Hotel in the Italian provincial capital Treviso .

The winner was the German Ralf Souquet , who defeated the Russian Ruslan Tschinachow 9: 5 in the final. For Souquet it was the 22nd tournament victory on the Euro Tour, Tschinachow had reached the final for the first time. Third place went to Denis Grabe and Daryl Peach . The defending champion was Mieszko Fortuński from Poland , who lost to Grabe in the round of 16. The Spaniard David Alcaide , who won the 146th tournament in the series with the Treviso Open 2016 , was eliminated in the preliminary round.

Final round

The 187 participants initially competed against each other in a double knockout system . 32 players qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
