Manuel Ederer (born May 16, 1993 ) is a German pool player . In 2010 he became German champion in 14/1 endless .

Career

Manuel Ederer was a total of ten German youth champions . At the European Youth Championships in 2007 he won his first medals with gold in 14/1 endless and bronze in 8-ball students. In 2008 he was European student champion with the German team and third in the Junior World Championship . In 2009 he won the final against Wojciech Szewczyk again the European title in 14/1 endless of the pupils. A year later he became Junior European Champion in 14/1 endless, in 9-Ball and with the team as well as Vice European Champion in 8-Ball for Juniors.

At the German championship in 2008 he reached the quarter-finals for the first time in 14/1 for the first time. In 2010 he won medals for the first time. He became, with a 150-0 win in the final against Kevin Becker , German champion in 14/1 endless and third in 9-ball. A month later he moved into the final of the 10-Ball national championship and lost there 5: 9 against Jan Hendrik Voss .

In 2011 Ederer was nominated for the European Championship for the first time . There he reached the quarter-finals in 14/1 endlessly, which he lost to later European champion Tomasz Kapłan . In August 2011, he won his first Euro Tour medal after he was eliminated in the semifinals of the German Open against Serge Das . At the German championship in 2011 he moved into the 9-ball final and lost it 6:11 against Oliver Ortmann . At the EM 2012 he reached the quarter-finals in 10-ball and the second round in 8-ball.

After only taking part in a few tournaments in the 2013/14 season, Ederer won a medal at the German championship for the fifth time in November 2014 with bronze in 8-ball . A year later he only reached the quarter-finals endlessly in 14/1, which he lost 0: 125 against the eventual German champions Joshua Filler .

In 2010, Ederer was part of the German team that reached the round of 16 at the Team World Cup .

At the EM 2012 he was runner-up with the German national team.

With the BSV Dachau he became German champion in the 2015/16 season .
