The Diamond Nine / Dynamic Billard Klagenfurt Open in 2017 were the 151st Tournament of 9-Ball - Pool Billiard Tournament Series Euro tour . They took place from October 5 to 7, 2017 in the Klagenfurt Sport Park in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee . It was the first Euro Tour tournament in Klagenfurt and the nineteenth in Austria .

For the first time since the Swiss Open 2008 two Germans were in the final: Ralf Souquet defeated Sebastian Ludwig , who had reached the final for the first time, after a 1: 5 deficit with 9: 6 and thus secured his 23rd Euro Tour victory . Third place went to Mateusz Śniegocki and Denis Grabe . The Russian Ruslan Tschinachow , who won the previous Euro Tour tournament with the Dutch Open 2017 , was eliminated in the preliminary round. Mario He , the winner of the Austrian Open 2017 , lost to Śniegocki in the round of 16. Maximilian Lechner and Klagenfurt's 9-ball world champion Albin Ouschan reached the quarter-finals as the best Austrians .
