Marek Kudlik (born July 11, 1993 ) is a Polish pool player .

Career

Marek Kudlik started playing billiards in 2003 . In 2008 he won third place in the 8-ball competition for pupils, his first of a total of three medals in individual competitions at the European Youth Championships . In 2009 he was a 6: 4 final success against his compatriot Wojciech Szewczyk European school champion in 8-ball. In 2011 he finished third in 9-ball in the juniors . He was also European champion in 2009 with the Polish school team and in 2011 with the junior team. In September 2011 he became Junior World Champion with an 11: 9 victory in the final against his compatriot Konrad Piekarski .

In December 2010, Kudlik won his first medals at the Polish men's championship with third places in the 14/1 endless and 10-ball disciplines . A year later he reached the final of the 8-ball competition and lost 6: 8 against his older brother Piotr Kudlik . In March 2012, he reached the last sixteen of the 8-ball and 9-ball competitions at the European Championship , for which he was nominated for the first time this year. In 2013 he made it into the round of 32 at the Italy Open for the first time in a Euro Tour tournament and into the round of 16 at the Bosnia & Herzegovina Open . He lost both games to Tomasz Kapłan . At the Polish championship in 2013 he won the 9-ball title with a 9: 7 win over Wojciech Szewczyk. In 2014 he was defeated by Tomasz Kapłan 2: 8 in the 8-ball final.
