Stephan Cohen (born August 14, 1971 in Nice ) is a French pool player .
Cohen has been French champion 29 times in his career so far. At the European Pool Billiards Championship in 2000 he made it to the semi-finals in the disciplines 8-ball and 14 and 1 endless . Two years later, at the European Championships in 2002 he succeeded in those two disciplines even the silver medal before 2008 won his first European title - this time in the discipline 9-Ball .
His best results so far on the Euro Tour were two semi-finals. In 2007 , 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 and 2014 he represented France at the World Cup of Pool . He reached the round of 16 with Vincent Facquet in 2007 and 2009 . In 2010 Francois Cottance made it to the quarter-finals, which was lost to Germany. In 2014 he reached the round of 16 together with Alex Montpellier , in which they lost 7-1 to the defending champions from the Philippines.
In 2009 he won bronze at the 9-ball tournament at the 8th World Games in Kaohsiung . Also in 2009 he won the WPA 14 and 1 endless world championship . He achieved another good result at the 8-Ball World Cup 2010 , where he reached the quarter-finals, where he was defeated by Karl Boyes from England.
