Harald Stolka (born February 14, 1975 ) is a German pool player .

Career

singles

In April 1999, Harald Stolka won third place at the German Open, his first medal at a Euro Tour tournament. In July 2000, however, he retired from the 9-Ball World Championship as sixth in his group in the preliminary round. At the Lichtenstein Open 2001 he won the bronze medal. In May 2002 he reached 33rd place at the Munich Open, a tournament of the IBC tournament. In July 2005 he made it into the final round for the first time at the 9-Ball World Cup , where he only just lost 9:10 in the round of 32 against Corey Deuel . At the German championship in 2005 he achieved his best results so far with fifth place in the 14/1 endless and 8-ball disciplines .

In May 2006 Stolka won a Euro Tour tournament for the first time; At the Germany Open , after victories against Tomasz Kapłan , Darren Appleton and Niels Feijen, he made it into the final, in which he defeated Oliver Ortmann 10: 7. At the 9-Ball World Cup in 2007 he reached the last sixteen, which he lost 7:11 against eventual world champion Daryl Peach . At the Austria Open 2010 he won his fourth Euro-Tour medal after being eliminated in the semi-finals against the Dutchman Nick van den Berg . In September 2011 he reached the quarterfinals of the Hungary Open . Then he only made it back to the finals of a Euro Tour tournament at the Austria Open 2014 , where he was eliminated in the round of 32.

From the 2003/04 season , Harald Stolka played for the second division club BSV Dachau , with whom he was promoted to the first division in his first season . In the seasons 2004/05 and 2005/06 he was with the club German champions. After the 2009/10 season , in which he finished second with the Dachau team, Stolka moved to Bundesliga promoted BSV Fürstenfeldbruck , with whom he became German runner-up in 2011 , 2012 and 2013 .
