The BSV Fürstenfeldbruck (officially: Billard-Sport-Verein Playhouse Fürstenfeldbruck eV ) is a billiard club from Fürstenfeldbruck founded in 1991 . The club's first pool team has played in the 1st Bundesliga since 2010 .

history

The BSV Fürstenfeldbruck was founded in 1991. In 2008 he was promoted to the Bayern League, in which he took first place in the 2008/09 season without defeat and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . There the club succeeded in the following season as runner-up in the 1st Bundesliga , in which they reached second place in the 2010/11 season , ten points behind BC Oberhausen . In the following two seasons, BSV Fürstenfeldbruck was again German runner-up, now three and seven points behind Oberhausen. After finishing fourth in 2014 , the club just managed to stay sixth in the 2014/15 season , five points ahead of relegated BV Mörfelden-Walldorf . In the 2016/17 season he was again third.

The club's second pool team rose in 2008 to the district league. There she took third place in 2009 and 2011, before she made it to the national league without losing points in the 2011/12 season, followed by first place in 2013 with only one defeat and thus promotion to the association league. After finishing third there in 2014, they won all league games in the 2014/15 season and thus rose to the top division.

The snooker team of BSV Fürstenfeldbruck rose to the state league in 2009, in which they took first place a year later. For the 2010/11 season, however, the first snooker team was canceled, the second took second place in the district league. In the following season they entered the association league, in which they finished fifth and in 2013 managed to move up to the Bayernliga with second place. There they came in eighth place in the 2013/14 season. The club then decided not to take part in the association league and was relegated to the fifth-class district league A, which was followed by promotion to the association league in 2015 with second place. In 2016, when they were eighth, they were relegated to the district league A.
