The distance stone entered in the Quedlinburg monument register is located on the western edge of the Gernröder Weg, a little south of the confluence of the Neinstedter Feldweg.
Plant and history
The Prussian round base stone was erected around 1835. The art road leading south from Quedlinburg to Gernrode was laid out in 1833. The stone served as a measurement and route marking on the newly built road.
At the beginning of the 21st century, the stone was re-set, which has since protruded a little higher from the ground than was the case at the end of the 20th century.
