Markus Buck (born July 16, 1979 ) is a German pool player .

Career

Markus Buck started playing billiards in 1995 . In February 2011 he reached the finals of a Euro Tour tournament for the first time at the French Open . However, he was eliminated in the sixteenth finals against the Scot Jayson Shaw . In October of the same year he reached the semi-finals of the Hungary Open and was only barely defeated by the Swede Marcus Chamat with 7: 8.

Since 2013 Buck has played in the second team of Fortuna Straubing , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2014 and became champion there in 2015 .
