Thomas Lüttich (* 1989 ) is a German pool player . In 2008 he became German individual champion .

Career

At the German championship in 2005 , Liège won medals in a German championship for the first time with silver in 14/1 and bronze in 9-ball for the first time. In 2006 he only finished 13th in 9-Ball. In 2007 he was third in 14/1 endless and in 9-ball and ninth in 8-ball . At the Swiss Open 2007 he achieved his best result in a Euro Tour tournament with the round of 16 .

A few months after he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with the team from Hannover 96 , he achieved the greatest success of his career at the German championship in 2008 ; he became German champion in 9-ball. He was also third in 8-ball and fifth in 14/1. At the EM 2009 Liège only lost in the quarter-finals against the eventual European champion Dimitri Jungo with 92: 125. He also reached the quarter-finals with Team Germany 2 at the 2010 World Team .

In the 2008/09 season he was also champion of the 2nd Bundesliga with Hannover 96 and thus rose to the 1st Bundesliga . There the team finished fifth in 2009/10 . In autumn 2009 he won bronze at the German championship in 8-ball and finished fifth in 14/1 endless. Since then, Liège has not been among the top sixteen players at German championships.
