Veronika Ivanovskaia (born February 1, 1995 in Saint Petersburg , Russia ) is a German pool player who has been active since 2003 and successfully takes part in pool competitions both nationally and internationally. She is part of the German national team in pool . Her favorite discipline is 14/1 .
She is currently in 4th place in the German Tour ranking list and 28th place in the WPA pool world ranking list, making her the best German athlete ahead of Kristina Grim in an international comparison .
Personal
Veronika Ivanovskaia was born in Saint Petersburg and came to Hanover at a young age as the oldest child of Russian immigrants .
During her youth, Ivanovskaia acquired German citizenship. Today she lives as a student in Berlin.
Sporting successes
Veronika Ivanovskaia's billiards career began at PBV Anderten , where her father is still active today.
As a youth player she took part in various tournaments and national championships and was already multiple German champion at the age of 15. She achieved her greatest success in Sarajevo in 2013 when she became the European junior champion in the 8-ball discipline .
When she came of age, she switched from youth to women's discipline. With the move to Berlin, I switched to the PBC 77 Viktoria.
By winning the German Women's Championships in 8-Ball 2016, she also demonstrated her quality in the national competition for over 18-year-olds. In addition, she regularly represents Germany at the EuroTour , a tournament series that takes place throughout Europe throughout the season, with high sporting quality and enormous prestige in the billiards world. There she has achieved five third places and one second place in the course of her sporting career.
She also regularly takes part in world championships and other international tournaments, such as the WPA 9-Ball World Championship for women in China or the Amway E-Spring International Women 9-Ball Championship in Taiwan , in which she came ninth.
