The PBV Anderten (officially: 1. snooker club Anderten eV ) is an established in 1988 billiards club from the Hanover district of Anderten .

history

1988 in Lauenau the first Pool Billiard Association Lauenau founded. After the club initially had no permanent venue, it used the King's Club in Anderten from 1994 and was renamed PBV Anderten. Four years later, the club rose to the 2nd Bundesliga for the first time . In 2001 the PBV Anderten rose to the 1st Bundesliga as the first place in the 2nd Bundesliga . A year later they became European champions in the final against PBC Dessau . In the league they came in 2002 and 2003, behind Dessau and the 1st PBC Fulda , respectively , in second place.

After the club again had no permanent venue from the summer of 2003 due to the dissolution of the King's Club, it was reopened as the Queens Club in January 2004 and has since served as a venue again. In the summer of 2004 the PBV Anderten lost to the 1st PBC Fulda in the final of the club European championships. They finished fifth in the Bundesliga. After 2005 had reached the third place, followed in the 2005/06 season eighth place and thus the relegation to the second division. There the team was fourth in 2007 , before being relegated to eighth place in the league in 2008 . In the major league, PBV Anderten took sixth place in the 2010/11 season, followed by promotion to the regional league in 2012 with second place. There the club narrowly missed the return to the second division in 2013 as runner-up behind Billardfreunde Bremen and in 2015 with three points behind the second team of PBC Schwerte .

In the 2015/16 season, Kai Burkhardt , Alex Kirsten , Hai Long Le , Muhammed-Ali Pak and Steffen Sellnau will play in the regional league team of PBV Anderten .

Oliver Ortmann and Veronika Ivanovskaia were German singles champions as players of PBV Anderten in 2003 and 2010, respectively .

The snooker division of PBV Anderten was founded in 1999 and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2001 . There they rose again in the 2001/02 season with just one win. In the 2010/11 season, the team was second in the league. In 2012 and 2015 she finished third, whereas in 2013 and 2014 she only just managed to stay fourth in 2013 and 2014.
