The 1st Dessau Pool Billard Club eV (short: 1st Dessau PBC , also 1st PBC Dessau ) is a billiards club from Dessau-Roßlau in Saxony-Anhalt, founded in 1993 . In 2001 he won the German team cup and in 2002 was German champion in pool .
history
The 1st Dessau PBC was founded on November 17, 1993. The club's first team rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1999/2000 season and to the 1st Bundesliga a year later . In their first Bundesliga season, 2001/02, the team around Ralf Souquet , Thomas Engert , Andreas Roschkowsky and Christian Reimering became German champions and won the German team cup . Since numerous players left the club for the following season, the Bundesliga team was canceled and the first team played in the regional league from then on. By 2005, the club then rose to the association league. In the 2007/08 season he rose again to the league. At the beginning of 2009, the Dessau PBC moved back to You52 after having played in ML in the meantime. After finishing second in the major league in 2011, the promotion to the regional league was narrowly missed, followed by fourth place in 2012 and relegation to the association league with sixth place in the 2012/13 season. They finished fourth there in 2014 and managed to stay fifth in the 2014/15 season, two points ahead of relegated Altmark Salzwedel 2 .
