Christian Weigoni (born March 31, 1982 ) is a German pool player .

Career

At the European Youth Championship in 1997 , Christian Weigoni became European champion in 14/1 endlessly with a final victory against the Greek John Vassalos . A year later he lost the final in the 8-ball of the students against Marcel Kirsten and was third in the 9-ball . In 1999 Weigoni was in the final against Nikos Ekonomopoulos and John Vassalos junior European champion in 14/1 endless and in 9-ball. At the Youth European Championship 2000 he came in third place in 14/1.

After Weigoni had finished fifth in the 14/1 in 2007 , he won a medal for the first time at the 2008 German Championship with third place in 9-ball. In October 2008 he made it into the final round of the 10-ball world championship , in which he was eliminated in the round of 64 7: 9 against the Swede Marcus Chamat . At the German Championship in 2009 he reached the 8-ball final, which he lost to Dominic Jentsch and was third in the 9-ball. In October 2010 Weigoni won the bronze medal in the 14/1 endless at the German championship .

With the 1st PBC Fulda Weigoni became German champion in the 2006/07 season . He currently plays for the second division club PBSG Wolfsburg .
