The Ulla Reith German Pool Masters 2019 was a pool tournament that took place from December 27, 2018 to January 6, 2019 in six billiard bars in Germany . It formed the end of the fifth season of the German Tour tournament series and was the fourth edition of the final tournament. Multiball was played; Within a set, two games in each of the disciplines 10-ball , 9-ball and 8-ball were played cyclically .

The winner was Sebastian Ludwig , who was the first German to move into the final and defeated the Dutchman Ivar Saris 7: 4. Third place went to Fitim Haradinaj and Jörn Kaplan . The defending champion was the American Earl Strickland , who did not take part that year. The leader of the ranking Kevin Schiller was eliminated in the round of 64 against Mohsein Saadawy .

In the women's finals , Veronika Ivanovskaia won 7-1 against defending champion Tina Vogelmann . The handicap competition was won for the third time in a row by Manuel Radu , who beat Klaus Knappe 6-1 in the final .

The German Tour 2018 comprised around 850 tournaments that were held in Germany between December 2017 and November 2018 . According to the number of participants and the amount of the prize money distributed, points were awarded for the German Tour ranking list at the tournaments.

In the preliminary round, almost 300 players who qualified via the German Tour ranking list competed against each other in 48 groups in round robin mode . The group matches took place in different locations, the first on December 27th and the last on January 4th. The top two in each group qualified for the intermediate round, which was played on January 5th in Bergisch Gladbach . In addition, the players in the German Tour ranking positions 8 to 16 were set for the intermediate round, in which 56 participants in the final round were determined in the double knockout system . The top 7 in the overall rankings and the first women in the rankings were also placed in the final round, which was held on December 6th in the knockout system .
