Marko Vogel (born July 18, 1966 ) is a German pool player .

Career

In 1983 Marko Vogel became German Junior Champion. A year later he won bronze in the 8-ball juniors at the European Youth Championship. At the Swiss Open 2007 Vogel reached the final round, but was eliminated in the sixteenth-finals against the Englishman Mark Gray . In March 2009 he won his only Euro Tour medal with bronze at the Italy Open . In the semifinals he lost to his compatriot Ralf Souquet 7: 9. In November of the same year he took part in a world championship for the first time, but retired from the preliminary round of the 10-ball World Cup without a win. As in the previous year, Vogel finished fifth at the Longoni Benelux Open 2010. A few weeks later he reached the quarter-finals of the Portugal Open , but lost it to Karol Skowerski from Poland . In January 2012, he finished seventeenth at the Paris Open. At the Deurne City Classic 2014, Vogel came 17th in the 9-ball .
