Lars Kuckherm (born February 15, 1993 in Münster ) is a German pool player .

Career

At the European Youth Championships , Lars Kuckherm was European champion with the German student team in 2008 and European junior champion with the team in 2009 as well as vice-European champion in the 9-ball for students. In 2011 Kuckherm was among the juniors, each in the final against Wojciech Szewczyk , 8-ball European champion and runner-up European 9-ball champion. He also won bronze in the 14/1 endlessly and with the German junior team. In April 2011, Kuckherm won the Wuppertal Open in the final against Andreas Roschkowsky . In November of the same year he was third at the Delfshaven 9-Ball Open in the Netherlands. At the Longoni Benelux Open 2012 in Belgium, Kuckherm achieved fifth place.

In August 2013 he reached the finals of a Euro Tour tournament for the first time . In the quarterfinals of the Bosnia & Herzegovina Open, however, he lost to the French Stephan Cohen . A few days later, Kuckherm was fifth at the Hangelar Open. In August 2014, Kuckherm came third at the Longoni Benelux Open. In September he reached the quarter-finals of the German 8-ball championship , where he was eliminated by Gregor Hermann . He achieved his biggest tournament victory in June 2019 by winning the 10th Berlin Masters in multiball in the final against Wojciech Szewczyk . In September 2019 he finished second at the Players Cup in Pinneberg. With BC Oberhausen , Kuckherm has been German champion five times and in November 2019 he was both German champion in singles in 9-ball with a final win against Sebastian Staab and German champion in 10-ball against Sebastian Ludwig .
