Dennis Orcollo (born January 28, 1979 in Bislig City , Surigao del Sur ) is a Filipino pool player .

Career

He celebrated his first major successes in 2006 when he won the Reno Open and the World Pool League , among others .

In 2007 he made it to the final of the 8-Ball World Cup , where he was defeated by his compatriot Ronato Alcano . Also at the World Cup in 14 and 1 endless , he made it to the quarter-finals, where he lost to the eventual winner Oliver Ortmann . In 2008 he was also able to win a highly endowed tournament with the Qatar World Open in 9-ball .

At the World Cup of Pool 2009 he reached the semi-finals together with Ronato Alcano as Team Philippines 1. A year later he won the 2010 World Pool Masters . Another year later he won the 8-ball world championship . At the 9-Ball World Cup in 2011 , he made it to the semi-finals, where he was defeated by compatriot Ronato Alcano.

In 2012 and 2014 Orcollo reached the final of the US Open in 9-ball , but lost each time to the American Shane van Boening .

In 2013 he won the World Cup of Pool with Lee Van Corteza . In 2014 they were eliminated in the quarter-finals against Finland.
