Ben Jones (born October 26, 1990 ) is a Welsh snooker player .

Career

Ben Jones attended Q School in 2012 . He came in the second of three tournaments in the last 16, but where he was eliminated. Jones took part in PTC tournaments and Q School events frequently in the years that followed, but always dropped out early. At the Paul Hunter Classic 2013 he made it to the round of 64 and received 700 ₤ prize money. There were no further successes until he survived qualification at the Riga Masters 2017 with a 4-1 win over Mike Dunn . Jones was eliminated in the first round against Tian Pengfei . At the Paul Hunter Classic 2017 Jones was able to defeat the German Jiaming Zhang 4-1. In the second qualifying round, Jones lost just 3: 4 against later main tournament participant Robert Read.
