Renate Wyss (born June 6, 1985 ) is a Swiss marathon runner and multiple Swiss champion.

Career

Wyss initially had initial successes in the youth field, including becoming Swiss champion U23 over 1500 m and 10 km road.

In 2010 she came third in the Swiss half marathon championships. She has been working for LSV Basel since April 2013, where she moved from LC Basel.

In 2013 she qualified fifth at the Zurich Marathon with her personal best of 2:40:54 h for the World Athletics Championships in Moscow , where she finished 35th. Her result in Zurich also made her the Swiss marathon champion .

In May 2018, the 32-year-old won the half marathon at the Salzburg Marathon after 1:26:33 hours .
