Nompumelelo "Mpumi" Nyandeni (born August 19, 1987 in Mpumalanga ) is a South African soccer player .

Life

Football career

In the club

Nyandeni started her football career in her hometown of Mpumalanga for the Detroit Ladies. In summer 2010 she left the Detroit Ladies from Mpumalanga and moved to Russia to the Russian champions WFC Rossiyanka .

In the national team

Nyandeni has been a national player for the South African national soccer team since 2007 . Nyandeni was nominated for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London on July 5, 2012 . On October 15, 2014, she made her 100th international match .

Private

In spring 2010 she took part in the FIFA campaign for the improvement of health through recreational soccer with Cristiano Ronaldo , Lionel Messi and Didier Drogba .
