The Kenyan women 's national soccer team is the national women's soccer team of Kenya and is controlled by the local soccer association, the Football Kenya Federation .

The nickname of the team Harambee Starlets is derived from the Swahili word " Harambee ", which roughly means: "Let's all pull together".

Games

The national team has not yet participated in any world championships .

African Cup of Nations

Kenya played three qualifying matches for the 2006 African Cup of Nations . In the years that followed, Kenya entered the African Championships, but withdrew before the first games. Therefore, Kenya only took part in the qualifiers again in 2014.

There have been four official goalscorers so far, all of whom scored in Kenya's first game against Djibouti. Florence Adhiambo with three goals, Doreen Wanjala with two and Lucy Mureu and Caroline Wanjala with one goal each.
