The Democratic Republic of the Congo women's national football team represents the Democratic Republic of the Congo in international women's football . The national team is subordinate to the Congolese Football Association and is coached by Poly Bonganya. The Congolese selection has taken part twice in the African Championship and achieved the best placement in 1998 with third place. So far, they have not participated in a world championship or the Olympic Games. Most recently, the team failed in the first round of qualifying for the Olympic Games in London with 0-0 and 0-3 to Ethiopia .
