The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is the governing body for football in Kenya . It is based in the capital, Nairobi .
The association emerged in 2011 from Football Kenya Limited , founded in 2008 , which in turn was the successor organization to the Kenya Football Federation (KFF) founded in 1960 .
The FKF has been a member of FIFA , the African Football Association CAF and the Association of East and Central African Football Associations (CECAFA) since 2012 .
