The Mauritius Football Association (MFA; German about Mauritischer Fußball-Verband ) is the highest football organ in Mauritius . The association was founded in 1952 and joined FIFA as a member in the same year . The association became a member of the African Football Association in 1963.
The MFA organizes the national leagues:
- Mauritius Premier League - 1st division with 10 clubs
- National First Division - 2nd division with 9 clubs
- National Second Division - 3rd division with 9 clubs
In addition, the Mauritian Football Cup takes place every year .
The Regional Football Association is a subsidiary of the MFA.
