The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF; Swahili Shirikisho la Mpira wa Miguu Tanzania ) is the governing body of football in the East African state of Tanzania . The association operates the national leagues and sends the Tanzanian national soccer teams. He has been a member of both FIFA and the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) since 1964 .
The TFF has been running the Tanzania Soccer Academy (TSA) since January 2008 as a national institution for the promotion of football in the country.
history
The association was founded in 1930 under the name " Tanganyika Football Association (TFA)" and was renamed "Football Association of Tanzania (FAT)" in 1971 before it got its current name in 2004.
